10 important things to know about our Steel Sheds!

  1. Revolutionary Strength. Our steel sheds are engineered for greatness, featuring an innovative box beam structure specifically designed to be stronger with increased rigidity. Steel box beam framing members provide you with a super robust and rigid steel frame shed system that works to eliminate typical twisting and other issues found in traditional steel sheds. NZ market leading technology is an impressive world 1st.

  2. Why choose a steel shed? NZ conditions are very demanding on shed structures so we like to ensure every project is built for the long haul and stand the test of time. Steel is a stable product and doesn't twist or distort like timber. Our steel frame shed system is the proven winner for rigidity and rock-solid strength!

  3. We love helping you find ways to make the most out of your investment! Using proven steel framing gives you limitless options and flexibility to design your steel shed project so its the best fit for purpose.

  4. More useable space. Connection plates are compact and streamlined to provide you with more useable space and keep them from intruding into the work area. Specific high tensile rated steel is used to minimize unnecessary dead weight in the roof structure of our steel sheds. NZ conditions demand a lot from building structures so quality is unconditional when it comes to our steel frame shed projects.

  5. Unrivalled Stability. Compared to the traditional steel frame shed systems, our beams are different. Being totally enclosed they won't twist and remain rigid which eliminates a lot of the issues found with conventional structures and adds impressive stability to your building structure.

  6. Hygienic and vermin proof. A steel frame shed can be designed so there is nowhere for birds to perch. This helps to eliminate issues with mess from nesting materials and bird droppings contaminating your gear. Being precisely built, there's also nowhere for vermin to enter so unwelcome visitors are kept at bay.

  7. We're all about clear spans. Our steel frame shed design means there are no internal colomns inside your space to obstruct your working area. This also gives more room to manouvre and takes away a major potential hazard. More here: Advantages of clear span sheds

  8. Internal fit out for steel sheds. For areas such as a bathroom, office or smoko rooms, you can add steel or timber framing and linings as required. See more ideas here: Options and ideas

  9. Mezzanine. A 2nd level is possible with most steel sheds and buildings. This allows for extra storage or work space particularly useful when land area is limited. Stairs, balustrade and handrails can be included to our steel frame sheds.

  10. Build by experts and specialist steel shed builders. When a no-hassle experience is what you're after, you need experience and expertise! We love building lifetime relationships and loyalty with our valued clients.

Monoslope

Contemporary and stylish, the monoslope roof has become increasingly popular over the past few years. Usually high at the front and low at the rear, doors can be positioned on the high side or the sloping end. Monoslope type roof styles are advantageous when we are trying to keep a low profile and reduce visual impact of a large shed, especially when being built near a home. Suited for all types of timber or steel frame sheds. Great for truck or boat sheds, lifestyle sheds, storage sheds, workshops, farm or implement sheds.

Barn Style

American Barn sheds are ideal for when a high door is required for items such as a horse truck or boat which can be positioned in the centre with the side bays sloping away to help make the shed less obtrusive. American Barns can be designed as timber or steel sheds and usually have at least 2 internal colomns or supports where the roof changes height, these can be incorporated into an internal dividing wall if applicable. This is a great option for lifestyle sheds, large boat sheds, truck or general storage sheds. See more here: American Barn ideas

Gable

Traditional and practical, gable sheds have an central apex (although can be offset) and ridge line. Gable is the most common roof system for steel sheds throughout NZ. With a gable roof, your head space is maintained throughout the depth of the building, this is important for large sheds housing implements, racking and when using a car hoist. Gable sheds work well as timber or steel frame sheds and are are ideal for storage sheds, workshop use, implement or farm sheds. Doors can be positioned on the low side or the gable end.
